Sebastian + Barquet specializes in American and European post-war twentieth century design, with an emphasis on rare and important works by designers, artists and architects whose work has left an indelible mark on the design landscape.
Sebastian+Barquet was founded in 2005 by Ramis Barquet. Sebastian+Barquet specializes in post-war, 20th-century American and Italian design and decorative art as well as selected work by contemporary designers. Our emphasis is primarily on rare and important works by designers, artists and architects whose work has left an indelible mark on the design landscape.
Located in New York’s premier arts district in Chelsea, the gallery's collection includes historic and iconic works by George Nakashima, Paul Evans, Harry Bertoia, Ico and Luisa Parisi, Gio Ponti and Carlo Mollino as well as contemporary pieces by Jens Praet, Antonio Pio Saracino, Patrick Schols, Peter Macapia and Michael Coffey.
In addition to regular shows in our gallery space and a revolving inventory in our showroom we attend and show at several design fairs per year around the globe.
Sebastian + Barquet will be relocating to a new space in Chelsea in the Fall of 2014. Business will continue as usual while we are renovating the new space. Please do not hesitate to contact us in the meantime to schedule an appointment or private viewing.
